How Can Your Organization Prevent Child Abuse?

Today, more than ever, children are at-risk of being exploited and abused. Parents and guardians can limit their access to devices and their exposure to the internet, but what about when their children are entrusted to the care of others?

Undoubtedly, the main focus of any organization is to keep your children safe and healthy. Many use background checks to ensure that those working closely with your children do not pose a risk to their safety. A common question that we are asked is, “What is the training like?” Our answer? Extensive and informative. With our training package, there are two courses available: a staff/high level volunteer course and a volunteer course. The staff/high level volunteer course contains about 2.5 hours of content, ranging from videos to podcasts, while the volunteer course contains about 1 hour of content. To ensure that users have listened and retained the information provided in the content, we also built in quizzes within the courses. 

Within your Learning Zone account, you can customize courses that you want volunteers to complete, as well as the option to remove and add any course you feel would be beneficial to your organization. Along with the option to customize courses, you are able to see your volunteer’s progress within courses, as well as quiz scores. 

Our training is more than a check-off to complete in one day and then forget. It uses national experts to get the point across while keeping the viewer engaged.
