For years, Safe Hiring Solutions provided background checks and screening services directly to churches and ministries across the country. In 2020, we recognized that ministry environments have unique needs and face distinct responsibilities when it comes to safety and screening. In response, we launched a dedicated division focused exclusively on churches and faith-based organizations called Safe Ministry Solutions.
In late 2023, that division was rebranded as Ministry Defender Solutions—a name that better reflects our expanded mission and specialized focus on ministry safety, screening, abuse prevention training, and risk management. Today, Ministry Defender Solutions serves some of the nation's largest church and ministry organizations and is the exclusive endorsed screening partner of Brotherhood Mutual Insurance.
